It’s funny how often unconsciously, it’s our visions, missions, and values that guide each micro-decision that we make. And maybe consciousness is a rabbit hole which we never get to the bottom of, but the more of it that we can cultivate, the more that we can make affirmative daily decisions based on. And it’s a really cool feeling to make decisions affirming of who you are – it’s like universal; you dive inwards, and yet your outer world expands – it’s funny how that works.
When I think of my North Star, and remove myself from the Hall of Very Good (my current world), I start to see a nearly mythical world for myself – I see my chosen tasks, not tasks of the “others.” I see line items that are meant for me – lines of work. I believe in myself as a creator, and I believe in the creator, finding a forging path for me. When you have this North Star, you approach seemingly crazy decisions, level-headedly. You look at risks as simple steps to follow in order to chart your path – it’s not contrarian; it’s purposeful. You have mapped out and created a blueprint – your vision gives you permission to follow it – you give yourself permission to follow the vision. We have some things beneath our skin which burn so deeply. Play your game, because that’s the game you WILL win – play your game; play your world; invest in you – dive deeper into you.
